World Boxing News can exclusively report that Indistry Media, the producer and principal investor behind Manny Pacquiao’s January 2026 return, has outlined what fans can expect — promising an event “unlike anything boxing fans have experienced before,” according to Co-Founder and COO Erroll Angara.
Angara told WBN that Indistry — a new name for boxing fans to digest — is leading the event directly alongside Pacquiao’s team.
“Indistry Media is the producer and principal investor behind Manny Pacquiao’s upcoming January 2026 event,” Angara confirmed.
“While there’s been speculation about potential collaborations and a rumored reunion with Top Rank, this bout is being developed and led by Indistry in direct coordination with Pacquiao’s camp. Further details will be shared once everything is finalized and ready for release.”
Angara added that Indistry appreciates WBN’s ongoing coverage but wanted to ensure “proper context” around the project following a World Boxing News article on Pacquiao potentially missing out on a world title challenge with Rolly Romero.
Pacquiao’s return plan
Pacquiao returned to the ring this summer in a shock comeback, fighting to a draw with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at the age of 46.
Asked about the doomed Rolly Romero fight — seemingly scrapped when the WBA ordered Romero to face Shakhram Giyasov — Angara said fans can expect something special.
“We’re not at liberty to comment on potential opponents or discussions with PBC,” he said. “What we can share is that Manny’s next fight will be unlike anything boxing fans have experienced before.”
Pacquiao had previously announced the bout via an Indistry video: “Hello to all my boxing fans. I’m excited to let you know that I will be returning to the ring on January 24th in Las Vegas. It is going to be an exciting and special event. Stay tuned, more news to come on my opponent in the next few days. Thank you, everyone.”
Who are Indistry Media?
Founded by Mary Landaverde and Erroll Angara, Indistry Media is a next-generation TV and live-stream network blending music, film, and sports. The company relaunches in January 2026 as a dedicated channel available on over 30 million connected TVs and across third-party platforms, reaching more than 300 million viewers worldwide.
Indistry focuses on emerging artists, interactive content, and live events — built on a mission to combine entertainment with social good. Angara brings a financial and legal background to the table after spending 13 years at FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as Associate Director in the Office of Dispute Resolution.

The New Media Era
Indistry Media’s move into boxing represents a bold new direction for the sport. By combining live combat sports with high-end streaming and interactive tech, they could help Pacquiao’s next event reach audiences far beyond traditional pay-per-view.
For Pacquiao, it’s another reinvention — one that may redefine how legends of his stature stage global events in the modern era.
